We are building features for the Women Who Code community and we want to highlight that work with our stakeholders, you! THANK YOU to our contributors for dedicating their valuable time to help us build tech a place where women can excel.

You can follow all of our work on github. Below are a few snippets of our awesome features.

Released

This week we started working on a new template for Network pages, and implemented a better “Get Involved” form on those pages, while also resolving a minor functionality issue.

Network “Microsite” Template

- A consistent template was implemented for all Network “microsite” pages, allowing for work on Network#show pages to continue without disrupting anything else on production.

Resolved “See More Jobs” Error

- A bug was causng the “See more jobs” ink on Network Pages to not work. To resolve this, we replaced @network.latitude and @network.longitude to avoid geocode rate limiting issues.

Network Contact Form — Backend

- Replaced the network/contact routes with network-id/get-involved- Added a category dropdown to the Network contact form- Added a mailer method to handle Network contact emails- Updated specs

3031 Network Hero

- We implemented a new hero image area for the Network template redesign.
