Leadership Summit 18 — WWCode Company Membership

Speaker: Sherice Avant — WWCode Account ManagerIn this talk, WWCode Accounts Manager Sherice Avant introduced Women Who Code Company Memberships. This is a program that systematizes the process of Networks offering sponsorships to companies in order to better fund their programming. The plan included different tiers that can be offered to potential companies, including benefits like event hosting, social shares, and logo placement. Suggested pricing was given, and each of the perks were described in detail.After that there was a Q&A session where the Leaders and Directors in attendance were able to ask Sherice questions relevant to their own personal Networks. Some concerns were raised about maintaining standards for sponsor companies, the challenges of scale in different size cities, and ways to ensure that deliverables do not overwhelm the capacities of the Network.

Overall this session elicited excitement among the WWCode Leaders on hand, who were eager to envision ways that each of their individual Networks could benefit from this system.
