Blackstone Partners With WWCode to Support Technical Programming for Engineers

Partnership Will Help the World’s Largest Women in Tech Nonprofit in the Production of Conferences, and the Development of Networks and Track Communities
ATLANTA — May 21ST, 2020 — Women Who Code (WWCode), an international nonprofit dedicated to inspiring women engineers to succeed in their careers, is proud to announce a partnership with Blackstone, one of the world’s leading investment firms. This collaboration will support WWCode New York, and the Cloud Track communities, and technical programming, as well as scholarships for attendance of industry events.
Women Who Code currently serves 200,000 members with networks in 70 cities and 20 countries, as well as online track communities focusing on topics such as cloud, blockchain, python, and mobile. They’ve produced over 10,000 free technical and career training events and enrolled 500 women in their Global Leadership Program who receive training, support, and opportunities to help elevate their careers.

Blackstone supports professional success through their annual Future Women Leaders Program, which includes resume writing workshops, skill-building, and networking. Additionally, the Future Women Innovators Program provides software engineers with early exposure to technology and business through interactive information sessions. Through their partnership with Women Who Code, their efforts are amplified through delivering education, community, and support to talented engineers around the world.
